Here are some photos from our KOICA trip!

As you can see traffic wasn't the best heading there, but eventually the students that were able to join got to experience the KOICA Global Village. 

There they learned a little about what KOICA is and what the Republic of Korea is doing with regard to the UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals (also known as SDGs, part of our recent AIYP UNESCO lecture).

The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) was founded in 1991 to address global development issues. Recently, the focus has been shifted toward sustainable development, aligning with the UNESCO  SDGs.

Since the foundation of KOICA, South Korea has participated in many global development projects. The exhibition at the KOICA Global Village showcased some of the recent projects in Laos, Ghana and Paraguay, shown in some of the pictures below.
